Tadd Fujikawa first made a splash in 2006, when, at age 15, he qualified for and played in the U.S. Open. The 5-foot-1 Hawaiian really hit the bigtime, however, at the 2007 PGA Tour Sony Open when, playing on a sponsor exemption, he made the cut, briefly appeared on the leaderboard, and wound up with a Top 20 finish. Later in 2007, Fujikawa turned pro.
