The "Provisional" is a new rainsuit from Sun Mountain, the Montana-based makers of outerwear, push carts and other golf merchandise. The Provisional is guaranteed waterproof, and comes in a mesh storage bag that stows easily in a golf bag or on a cart.
The Provisional is made of a single-ply microfiber fabric treated with a Teflon(r) coating that prevents the fabric from "wetting out," according to Sun Mountain. The jacket is full-zip jacket with zippered side pockets, drawstring waist and back vents. The pants feature an elastic drawstring waist, side hand pockets and lower leg zips, which make getting them on and off over golf shoes easier.
The new rainsuit is available in men's and women's colors and sizes and carries a suggested price of $90. Men's Provisionals are available in navy, black, indigo/black and red/black. Women's suits are available in black, red/black and dusk/black.
