E-motion, a German company well-known in Europe, is introducing two new models of electric golf caddies, the e2 and e3, at the 2008 PGA Fall Expo in Las Vegas in late August.

Electric-powered caddies are targeted at golfers who want to walk the course, but without having to carry their golf bags ... and without having to push or pull a manual cart.

The e2 is a 2-wheel caddie and the e3 is a 3-wheel caddie. The wheels run on independent and silent motors; the e-motion caddies are controlled with a sensor grip, so there are no switches, dials or buttons to fuss over.

A rechargable lithium manganese battery powers the e2 and e3. The carts weigh in at 22 pounds, making them, according to e-motion, the lightest electric caddies on the market. The frame folds down to a compact size for easier transport.

The e-motion e2 and e3 electric caddies have an MSRP of $3,474 each. For more info, visit www.emotion-caddy.com (German language only).
