Two new wedges in its V-Foil lineup have been introduced by MacGregor, the V-Foil Tour and the V-Foil EZ Out.
V-Foil Tour Wedges
The MacGregor V-Foil Tour wedges are enginered to provide more option on tough shots requiring high touch. The forged clubs incorporate the V-Foil technology to produce a lower and deeper center of gravity, helping the ball get airborne more easily.
The soles are heavily cambered with rolled leading and trailing edges, creating a continuous curved surface with less bounce. The clubs thus allow for easier open-face shot options.
The V-Foil Tour wedges are forged with 1025 Carbon Steel with a perfectly flat (to within 0.001") CNC-milled face. The are finished with brushed Satin-Nickel-Chrome for durability. They are available in 52-, 56- and 60-degree lofts with True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips. The MSRP is $149.99.
V-Foil EZ Out Wedges
The EZ Out wedges feature an oversized back structure to create greater forgiveness. The back construction helps the trailing edge make first contact, cutting easily through sand and fluffy lies around the green. The super wide radius sole glides through the sand and helps lower the center of gravity.
V-Foil EZ Out wedges are forged with 1025 Carbon Steel, and their faces are CNC-milled perfectly flat (to within 0.001"). They are available in 56- and 60-degree lofts with True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips and finished with brushed Satin-Nickel-Chrome. MSRP is $149.99.
