Astra Expands to Sport, Classic Collections
The Astra brand, recently named the most rapidly growing women's golf brand in the U.S., is expanding to include AstraSport, aimed at the fashion-minded golfer, and AstraClassic for the traditional golfer.

AstraSport is the new collection of the two. It's designed to be trendy yet multi-functional, targeted to women who head to work and then to the golf course. Features include concealed deep pockets that zipper close to prevent golf balls from falling out, back pockets that hold scorecards and tiny pockets for golf tees.

The Fall 2006 line utilizes bamboo tech fabrics to whisk away perspiration. All Astra tops come with UV protection and 100-percent Egyptian cotton, which is known for its resistance to shrinking.

Chocolate, tan, white, cream and black are among the base colors, with accents in lipstick (pink), Caribbean (green) and papaya.

Retail prices range from $56 to $96. More information is available at the Astra Web site.
