Adams Expanding Ovation, Redline Series

Ovation Driver, Redline Fairway Woods Introduced

Dec 10 2004

Adams Golf is expanding two of its popular series of woods with the addition of an Ovation driver and Redline fairway woods.

The Redline RPM Stainless Steel fairway wood features Adams' proprietary "Repositioned Mass" (RPM) technology and "xFace" engineering. The RPM technology repositions weight from the crown to the soleplate by the use of tungsten inserts. This increases ball speed, improves launch angle and spin rates and creates more forgiveness. xFace engineering, Adams says, expands the COR zone across the face for greater ball speed on both center and off-center hits.

According to Adams, the Redline RPM Stainless Steel fairway wood has the lowest center of gravity of any steel fairway wood on the market today.

The Ovation 460cc titanium driver, a complement to the popular Ovation fairway woods, also incorporates tungsten weights to promote more forgiveness on off-center strikes. The Ovation driver, Adams says, promotes a high launch with low spin.

The Ovation 460cc titanium driver is available in two models, standard and offset. Lofts are 9.5, 10.5 and 11.5 degrees for men in regular and stiff flexes with the standard model; the offet is available in 9.5 and 10.5 degrees, regular and stiff flex. A Senior flex is available in 9.5 and 10.5 degrees, and a women's flex is also available. All feature a proprietary shaft from Aldila.

The MSRP for the Adams Ovation 460cc titanium driver is $249.99.

The Redline RPM Stainless Steel fairway woods are available in 13-, 15-, 17-, 19- and 21-degree models and X, S, R and A flexes. A Fujikura shaft is standard.

The MSRP for the Adams Redline RPM Stainless Steel fairway wood is $249.99.
